About Creative Candy Covers

I have been in the graphics field for over 13 years. Back in 2003 my family and I were planning a surprise 60th birthday party for my father. The planning was going very smoothly except for the fact that we could not come up with a unique & fun favor to give our 150+ guests. We have all been to special events and received many favors over the years. Sometimes, the favors we receive get tossed in a drawer, never to be seen again. We wanted to give our guests something they would love, but more importantly we wanted something they could keep as a reminder of our fathers special day.

After weeks of searching, I came up with the PERFECT favor. I asked my family what they thought about a personalized Hershey wrapper with Dad's pictures and fun facts about the year he was born. The candy can be enjoyed by the guests and the wrapper can be a special keepsake. My family loved the idea! And by the way, who doesnt love chocolate!? I found a cute photo of my father when he was a little boy and a handsome current photo and added that to the design. I created the perfect wrapper with lots of Fun Facts on the back from the year he was born. (see my dads wrapper below)

All of our guests loved the favors and everyone was complimenting my design work. That evening, numerous guests asked if I would make Hershey Wrappers for their upcoming special events. My mother always told me, "find something you love to do and then find a way to make money doing it". Word of my candy bar favor business spread like wild fire. After 6 years, I thought it was time to build my own website to allow all of you the opportunity to experience my Creative Candy Covers for your upcoming special events.
